After much pondering the franchise affiliation with my old brokerage and putting the pen to the paper, I have decided to move to a different brokerage: Encore Realty Group.
I parted ways with my team, however I have a newly licensed agent assisting me with showings currently for the transition.
So far the separation from my team has given me more time to spend on my own business and I admit it has been hard to answer my phone and talk to new possible customers and for referrals the last year.
I am in transition this weekend and have one of my baby sissies coming to visit me this week. In other words, this will be a "light" week for work.
I will be ready for a fresh start on July 27!

Renee, moving can be pretty disruptive, and is really worth it when you find a great place.
Renee, The best to you as you begin a new direction in your career path! Take care!
Congrats on the move! I can't believe your team didn't follow the leader...
Renee, Good luck with your new affiliation. A fresh start is always good. 4 years ago I started my own brokerage and I LOVE IT!!
Congratulations . . . good luck . . . and Encore Realty is going to have one heck of a real estate agent with you there!!
(I don't evny the move, however . . . as Patricia said "pretty disruptive.")
Congratulations. I moved almost exactly a year ago - July 17th - with my broker. We started a new business and it has been exceptionally satisfying. I wish you the best!!!
Renee - Keep in touch and remember I have ants in my pants to possibly make a move!
And if you ever became a Broker I would come and work for you, you really know the Real Estate business!

Hi Renee: Congratulations to you. I wish you the best of luck.
:)
Renee:
Best of luck, go get em'! You will make it happen. Why didn't your team move together?
Oh well have fun and make money!
Richard
Hi Renee~ Good luck with your new business decision. I am sure you will remain successful and be happy! Enjoy your visit with your sister too!
Renee,
Good luck with your new brokerage. Hope it will work for you and yo will find that perfect balance between work and family.
I did not fiind it, but I am a broker, so there is nobody to blame. Instead I brought the family to work with me (so now I can only change the family affiliation instead of the brokerage- LOL)
Renee,
I moved 1 year ago and it has been nothing but a positive experience. I wish you all the best in your new endeavor.
Hi Renee ~ Best of luck in your new digs. Isn't it nice to have ActiveRain as a constant in a time of transition?
Liz
Hey Renee,
If anything changes, let me know :)
Hi Renee...They say A Change is Good as a rest, plus maybe a good excuse to call all your Clients. All the Best in your new digs.
Cheers, have a fun week with your sister :O))
Renee, I'm excited for you! You are truly one of the real estate professionals that shines in the Las Vegas area. You won't need the big franchise name behind you - you will stand out all on your own!
Enjoy the family time this week and then please let us know how you're adjusting!
Im glad the decision is made. Its the hardest part of the process. Now take some time off after you update the net and world of your new place.
Renee, best of success in your new company. Dicisions like this are alway gruelling.
Ok so I had no idea where you "use to be" because I follow YOU, not which company you are or were with.
I'm sure your clients will do the same.
P.S. I got a call from someone I spoke to in 06, I didn't remember her because she decided not to sell, but she remembered me.
I have had the same web-site URL and email for 14 years.
Renee, best to you on your move. I hope that you continue to move in a positive direction.
Patricia: Yes it is worth it and when you get a pay raise too!
Wanda: I can't wait!
Donna: they didn't follow because I told them not to! Too much time involvement so I told everyone to go their separate ways!
Marchel: THat is something I am pondering to have control of my own destiny!
Carla: Very disruptive but it is a move I have been pondering the last several months so I was prepped for the most part!
Suzanne: I hope it is satisfying for me too! Congrats on your move!
Robert: I am pondering the broker issue but pretty much to work by myself. I don't want to go back to managing kids and people who have zero problem solving skills again. It will be something I definitely have to revisit. Thanks for the feature!
Joan: Thanks for stopping by and the well wishes! I appreciate it as always!
Linda: Thank you so much!
National Credit Fixers: Thanks! I may need to hire the cat for some of my clients ;)
Richard: Probably because I didn't want them to move with me!
Vickie: THanks thanks and thanks!
Jon: LMAO!
Fran: I am happy to hear your response that your move was positive. I am reoganizing my systems just a bit and I believe I will be able to say the same in a year!
Elizabeth: YES YES YES it is nice to have AR as a constant!
Tony: You know I will! Why don't we just open our own brokerage?
Fred: I did find it an excuse to touch the database, LOL GMTA
Kris: awwwwwwwwww thanks for the kind words!
Laura: Yes it is the hardest part of the process!!
Missy: Portability is VERY important!! GOOD POINTS! I don't have to care about the company website because I have my own!
Tim and Pam: Thanks so much for the kind words! I am chugging along in a positive way (can't believe how much time I had teamless) and a fresh start!
good luck and I wish you a smooth transition and a prosperous new adventure!
WOW! I wondered when I say someone else's face in "your" blogs.
I feel for you! It is a hard choice sometimes to make a move, did not enjoy the pondering I did a bit ago as well.
Change is usually a positive in one's life although it may not seem like it at first. But you know team or no team, you know you will always be great!
Janie: THANKS!
Dawn: Change is keeping me on the move. Sometimes we stagnate and make some difficult decisions, very positive results happen!
congrats renee...just moved my self! its liberating!
Steve: It is liberating! Congrats on your move Steve! We so need to sit down and have lunch someday and meet each other (I am not recruiting, just want to meet ya!)
