Great shot!

But, that's not the most common balloon over Vegas. 8>)

Front Row Seat, I guess maybe Back Yard Seat. I am amazed the way they control them. I have never been in a hot air balloon but would like to. The first picture with the mountains in the back ground is too cool.

Thank you.

Sea to Sky:  Thanks for thinking of me!

Tom:  I remember the first morning we woke up here - laying on an air mattress in our master bedroom and no window coverings - a hot air balloon just skirted right by us!  What a treat that has never ceased!

Joni:  I do have a most amazing unobstructed view of Red Rock Canyon!

Bill:  LOL you are right.  Do you know how long it took me to get shot of "unbranded" balloon to put on my blog hahahhaha

Scott:  They controlled it right through a row of lights from the school parking lot.  I thought for sure there was going to be a crash!

Very cool. About the only exciting thing I sometimes see from my back yard is fireworks and an occasional fox! Have a great Sunday.

Posted by Barb Szabo E-pro Realtor Cleveland Ohio Homes (RE/MAX Trinity) over 1 year ago

Cool photo, Renee. How long did it take to land? I would imagine it took a while... but that’s just a guess.

Renee, what a great shot, and even from your back yard!    We have balloons in the Chatfield area early in the morning before it gets too warm, and such a great site!

Renee, great photos.  Sometimes they land so fast that you can hardly catch them.  Thank you for sharing.

Renee, now that is awesome to be able to have this come down in your back yard.  Like the scenery...we see mostly deer not just one but 6-12 every day.

GREAT photos.  Although not in motion, we certainly get the sense of the balloon landing!  At least it didn't land in your backyard HA HA HA

Renee, I really want to take a hot air balloon ride - maybe over the Loire Valley.  Hope the landing is as nice as this one.

Renee,

Hope all your RE transactions are landed perfectly!

I just read that LV grew over 35% in 8 years. That's amazing,

I took a hot air balloon ride over the CA desert--it was a wonderful (but hot) experience!  Your photos brought back some good memories (although my friend was scared to death the entire ride).

Why is it that I only think about ballooning happening in AZ?  That I would do in a heartbeat.  You're the luckiest Renee.  We only get to see the Goodrich blimp now and then, ballooning is about 30 miles away.  Really nice sequential shots too!

Renee, How exciting to watch. You reminded me some where I have a picture of a Hot Air Balloon landing on my street a number of years ago.  It looks like a it was a beautiful day.  :)

Renee - That was really cool!  My friend Bob lives in New Mexico and from time to time I'll get a few cool balloon pics.  You should have your name on the side of it!

Renee, you have a great view even without the balloon!  They are so fun to watch but I'm not sure I would want to ride in one.  Great photos- hope you have a great week!

Sally:  It was!

Craig:  I should have photoshopped you hanging out the basket and waving at the masses!  HAHA!  Your posts crack me up.

Bill:  Probably all of 10 minutes!

Claude:  I always look forward to fall to get the views of the balloons!

Gene:  Yea, was going to make a reference to that but like to keep it positive mostly!

Virginia:  That would be cool to get an aerial of Mesquite like that!

Thanks everyone else for the comments :)
