America's 10 most expensive zip codes
Forbes released its annual list today of the nations most expensive zip codes, and is anyone really surprised to see California have 6 of the 10? Enjoy!

- 94027 - ATHERTON, CALIFORNIA - Median Home Price: $4,010,200
- 90274 - ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA - Median Home Price: $3,892,456
- 07620 - ALPINE, NEW JERSEY - Median Home Price: $3,814,885
- 10014 - NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Median Home Price: $3,785,445
- 90210 - BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - Median Home Price: $3,684,150
- 10065 - NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Median Home Price: $3,626,001
- 94920 - BELVEDERE, CALIFORNIA - Median Home Price: $3,283,269
- 10012 - NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Median Home Price: $3,221,371
- 93108 - SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA - Median Home Price: $3,151,220
Obviously some of these cities have such small populations and so few homes have sold that the stats are a bit misleading, but overall, this data appears pretty accurate.

Tom - LOL I saw this list to and was laughing that CA had the majority of them. Actually, that didn't surprise me in the least. What did surprise me was that HI wasn't on the list. I always thought HI was a high cost state. Hmmm.....
Donne - Yeah, I was surprised La Jolla, Ca, Newport Beach, Etc werent on the list! It all has to do with size of the zip code in my opinion!
Duarte is ahead of SAN MARINO? Pasadena? Huh??? That's surprising... you are probably right about the size of the zip code. Wonder how they calculate that? Duarte has a lot of horse propertes, but still... This really makes no sense to me!
Now those are some median home prices! Wow, must be exciting to sell in these areas.
