This is just a guide for consumers to see what types of properties are closing vs what is listed. Currently we have the most closes in the REO sector and the least inventory in the REO sector and it is an extreme seller's market.

General Las Vegas Area Real Estate Market Reports are for MLS Areas 101-606 (the average consumer probably asks, what’s that?) It means that I cover the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas including unincorporated Clark County Townships of Whitney, Paradise, Winchester, Enterprise, Sunrise Manor & Spring Valley. They do NOT cover the areas of Boulder City, Pahrump, Laughlin, Moapa or Mesquite.

Renee, it looks like the REO numbers are creepnig up there. How does this compare to a year ago? Did the new foreclosure laws in Nevada have any effect on the numbers?
67% still distressed. Looks like you have a ways to dig out yet. BUt hang in there. At least they are moving well.

Wow Renee, look at all your short sales. Doesn't surprise me with how quickly Las Vegas grew in those volitile years! Our short sales for the Sacramento Valley equate to only 33%, with 19% REO and 48% traditional sales. Great report as usual!
Hi Renee - excellent market report for Las Vegas by type. Interesting with the high REO sales, but listings are less. This is excellent data.

Juli - we are getting CRUSHED by the new foreclosure law. We have SO little inventory! In fact, we are down 130 units from when I pulled all my stats yesterday. It is complete and total chaos here right now! I have been trying to put out a blog post since noon and it is 5:30 right now!
