My BNI group has been slow to get chartered. OFFICIALLY last Tuesday we made it with the minimum 15 members we need to get chartered! YAY to GIVERS GAIN!
I have always tried to be a team player on this chartering and my goal is always to bring a visitor every week to get this done. I was a tad upset on Monday because I didn't have the time to seek out a new visitor BUT my new visitor came to me!
My active rain post for a Rhodes Ranch home last week got filtered through twitter (and then I have it go to facebook, more explanation in a later post.)
Wayne Wallace of Wayne Wallace photography is opening a new studio just a block south of Rhodes Ranch and he has set up alerts to Rhodes Ranch Related Tweets. Well he contacted me and asked if we can have coffee.
I can have coffee several times a day and as much as I like coffee I like networking coffee only once a week because after all, I still sell real estate. SO I asked Wayne if he would join us Tuesday morning for our area BNI group. Wayne had already visited a BNI group that was too far and was excited and filled out his application on his first visit!
Please check out his stuff, he is AN AMAZING ARTIST! I also got a sneek peak of his new photography studio that will be opening in several weeks. Not only does he "get" BNI but he is a SOCIAL AND REGULAR MARKETING GENIUS!
I am extremely gracious for the opportunity to have a new marketing buddy & pal like Wayne!
If you are a Las Vegas Area business who is interested in a networking opportunity for growing your business through BNI (this is not MLM or I don't get anything special for bringing you in,) and you see this on AR or Twitter or Facebook, please ask me about all the available spots we have open for different businesses. We meet in the Southwest!
We still need: CPA, Courier, Moving Company, Lawyers, Commercial Realtor, Property Management, Massage Therapist AND MORE!

Just another way how social networking is bringing people together!
Donna: Exactly! It comes from and takes you to places you least expect it!
Congratulations Renee, I am sure you will get the other occupations soon and suspect with you involved , this group will be a hit in no time.
Way to go Renee. You have certainly mastered the is social networking thing and it's an inspiration to those of us still learning the ropes!
Thanks for sharing this - it helps me understand Twitter better.
Renee- You have to love networking and all the benefits that come with it, great info!
Very exciting and congratulations! It is always great to read success stories related to networking. Keep posting them and I'll keep following! Have a great week.
Renee, pretty cool. Congratulations.
Renee.... hey stranger.... Yes, the internet has transformed social media networking. Not only has it grown from such a community as AR, but so many people are catching onto Twitter and Facebook now. It's great that not only did Wayne find you, that you are connected, but that he is a marketing genius. It can be such a small world. Just a few days ago, someone from college sent me an e-mail. He was roommates with one of my best college friends. I never kept in touch with this guy.... again, such a small world, which has gotten smaller because of Facebook and Twitter.
Hey Renee- Congrats on getting your chapter up and running! I am going to be in Las Vegas In May. I would like to come visit your chapter. How far are you from the strip?
William: I love the dynamics our group has evolved to!
Russell: Well, I don't twitter as much as I should. I prefer facebook!
Kate: WOO HOO!
Robert: I sure do!
Terrie: I do have some wild social networking stories. Facebook has been a wild ride as far as it's use to my business. Now I have high school friends and family on there so I changed my plan up a bit. All a revolving document!
David: Thanks!
Jeff: Very small world! In November all of my high school classmates started joining in on facebook so what a joy that was!
Shawn: THANKS! We meet at the putters on 215/Rainbow at 7 AM on Tuesdays. At that time it is literally minutes (10) from the airport.
